Follow our easy steps for a Supervised Rapid Antigen Test (Prior to Travel): 

STEP 1: BOOK your appointment with our Pharmacist below.

STEP 2: SELECT "SUPERVISED RAT TEST" from the dropdown list. Fill in your details and then press the SUBMIT button.

STEP 3: Bring your PASSPORT, your Flight number/details of travel with your appointment at Giant Chemist Harbourtown between 10am - 4pm.

STEP 4: Our PHARMACIST will supervise while YOU conduct a Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RAT) according to manufacturer's instructions. The Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RAT) must be purchased at the time of your test for $10.95 from Giant Chemist Harbourtown.

STEP 5: CONFIRMATION. Following the completion of the test you will receive a CERTIFICATE that confirms:

• Our PHARMACIST was witness while YOU were undertaking a Rapid Antigen Test according to manufacturer's instructions

• A Supervised Rapid Antigen Test took place at a certain time, date and location

• The Brand/Make of that Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RAT) and type of specimen (Nasal or Mouth swab)

• The result of that Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RAT)  

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Please allow approximately 15-20 minutes to complete your consultation, testing and provide documentation.

• You MUST bring your PASSPORT, your Flight number/details of travel with you to the appointment.

• A Supervised Rapid Antigen Test (Prior to Travel): It is not the same as a "POINT of CARE" RAT test performed by a health professional in a supervised environment. Speak to your doctor or Government Hub if you require this service or are unsure. The aim of this service is to provide supervision and declaration of witness by our Pharmacist to the taking of a Rapid Antigen Test according to manufacturers instructions.

• It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that a Supervised Rapid Antigen Test is the appropriate documentation for your travel needs. We recommend that prior to taking the test that you CHECK with the International Country, Domestic State or Territory, Airline or method of travel, or other authority that your documentation meets the requirements for your travel.

• You must purchase and use a Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RAT) provided by Giant Chemist Harbourtown at the time of your test. This is to ensure the storage conditions of the test have been maintained.
